Anton Bendarzsevszkij is a foreign policy analyst and journalist. He studied media and communication, as well as history at the University of Pécs, and also pursued political science studies at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. 

For seven years, he was section editor at the foreign policy news portal Kitekintő, worked in the private sector, and for four years led the geopolitical foundation and research institute of the Central Bank of Hungary. 

Between 2020 and 2022, he first headed the geopolitical research group at the Danube Institute, and later became the Director of Research of the organization. Since June 2022, he has been serving as Director of Research at the Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation. 

He is a regular external contributor to the Index news portal and a guest columnist for the Mandiner weekly, and frequently appears in a wide range of Hungarian media as a foreign policy expert. 

His main research area is the security policy of the post-Soviet region.
