As a team leader data scientist, I have worked in many areas with various solutions. These include, among others, natural gas analysis, bankruptcy risk pricing, support for the work of natural gas scanners, and estimation of the final results of football matches. My team and I are currently working on revolutionizing online media, where we generate information and predictions from text and web analytics data.
I am mostly motivated by projects that provide an opportunity to automate monotonous and boring work, thus encouraging people to take on more meaningful and challenging tasks. My main field at the moment is NLP and large language models, in which I find it fascinating that most of humanity's thousands of years of knowledge can be put into a model with a few billion parameters in a few months and made widely available.
